Team

Najia and Aboubakr, both Ph.D in nuclear medical imaging, have a closely linked careers, taking advantage of their complementary skills, in inclusive Deeptech technologies, Business Development, Clinical/Market Assessment, Finance, and Management.
They co-founded their first Start-up in the field of Positron Emission Tomography System dedicated to early diagnosis of neurodegenerative diseases.
They have led large Medtech projects in photonics, robotic surgery, non-invasive diagnosis and therapy,…targeting different clinical intended uses.
In 2023, they embarked on a new entrepreneurial adventure, XIMED, to establish the new GOLD STANDARD for early Breast cancer detection based on an innovative X-R Phase Conyrast imaging.

B.APPERT-COLLINCEO of ALPHANOV

ALPhANOV is a private, non-profit organization and is the Technology Center. It provides technical resources and expertise required to fulfill R&D challenges and innovative development in photonics, optics and lasers.
In the field of Healthcare, ALPHANOV is the leader of XPULSE collaborative project where the IP portfolio transferred to XIMED comes from. XPULSE, funded since 2017 by the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region and the ERDF, aims to develop a Phase Contrast Mammography system based on X-ray source generated by laser and dedicated to the early detection of breast cancer.

S.BUCOURTCEO of Imagine Optic

Imagine Optic is a privately-owned technology company that develops and manufactures versatile, high-performance wavefront sensing and adaptive optics solutions. Imagine Optic, also a strategic partner of the XPULSE project. It brings its expertise in Phase Contract Imaging based on Hartmann mask technology to the Consortium and then to XIMED through an IP portfolio transfer.

Stéphane is the Chairman of the French company Vygon, a world leader in the development and sale of products for a wide range of medical applications, particularly in perfusion, anesthesia, surgery, neonatology and intensive care.
Stéphane has extensive experience in Medtech industrialization, international marketing and regulation of medical devices.
